Trust me Sam your ar not missing much with Aldi! They just seem to have some bargains now and then. You should be able to find these kind of boots in your local high street. Actually Tesco are selling a good walking boot for £25 and thick soled big grip trainers for £20. The latter of which I have just got for my trip to Canada and can recomend. Very Happy

hi carole, I,ve just got a really nice pair of smart hiking boots from ebay, and they only cost just over a tenner (waterproof) hope this helps, weve never been either, hope this helps Smile

you obviously haven't seen some of the skimpy outfits I've seen in Pamps. Dresses more for style than comfort and how those young girls dont catch their death in those outfit. P.S. my young daughter is one of them. Leave the thick soled trainers at home it you're under 20.
