Hi Julie,

No, nothing received and have got the post today Crying
The coffee morning went really well. Andie came on Thursday and stayed and worked her but off, she certainly got me organised and it was great to have her here, it was real team work, also we had such a laugh. I can't believe it, we made £510.24, and when I receive your cheque for the bag it will be £530.24 - I would love to know who put the 4p in ! Surprised After everybody went I had about 12 friends who stayed for some lunch ...

Surprised After everybody went I had about 12 friends who stayed for some lunch and I did Shopska salad and quiche - so brought a bit of Bulgaria into our lunch! You cannot imagine how much stuff we had for sale, and how much was left. I was so knackered afterwards, but instead of leaving everything to me, Andie and my friend helped me to pack everything up, John arrived home (been away in Russia working all week) and he help us to load his car as well as mine and we took it to the Scope charity shop, which was a real bonus to get rid of it all. Andie and I even managed to get to the Halifax before it closed to pay in all the notes. I will pay the coins in next week.
Try sending me a test email and I will click reply, to see if you get it this way.
Hope all is well.

Not sure really as I did not keep a proper check as I asked people to keep giving the notes for safe keeping to our "finance secretary", I think the raffle was a good £100. I had a couple of my therapist friends and a beautician offering mini treatments for £5 and they gave their time free which probably raised about £80. I was given £90 in donations. £1 each for coffee/tea & bis. & extra for cakes. All I can say is that I am glad it is all over.

Can you believe it , I offered her a glass of wine (or two) and she asked for a smoothie. Believe it or not she is not a Booze afterall

Unfortunately we were too busy to have any treatment Crying I would have died for the foot massage.

I am sure Andie has updated the webpage and should give the total. In the Halifax we have £11585 and I will paying the rest in next week.

As for John, well he did surprise me, although he is always very supportive. However, I did make sure I got rid of the evidence of activity in the bedrooms (they were being used for treatments and the beautician had mine downstairs) - after 40 years I ...
