re: general prices

Didn't mean to be so personal Andy --- sorry if I got a little carried away, but so many use the term 'rip off' when all they are doing is trying to forge a better future.

re: general prices

One thing to add guy's ,Poland joined the EU a few yrs ago and a good wage for a cafe worker is still only around a £1 a hour ,cup of coffee 20 pence...
I think lot's of people focus on the price of property and in BG it rises at around 20% PA so it's natural to assume that cost of living will go up there too! Well fact is BG is'nt like Ireland the econemy will not esculate in that short amount of time,wIll prob take yrs and yrs so for the time being let's just look forward to the kind ...

re: general prices

God is no-one allowed an opinion on this site except you!!
Don't know where you live but we only pay on average £2.50 for a pint and I have been to Bulgaria for the past 2 years and have yet to find a bar that sells a pint for 50p!!! Do you really go to Bulgaria or do you live in a fantasy world?

re: general prices

I have never seen a pint for 50p either Confused

Tiger Tim, property prices rising by 20% an annum? Dont you mean people being charged 20% more each year. Wink

re: general prices

In fact I probably know of at least 20 bars where I can get a pint for 50p in Bulgaria. Maybe it proves that I know a few more places in Bulgaria than you do Razz

Do I go to Bulgaria --- ummmmm this year will be my 22nd visit.

re: general prices

Pizza restaurant to the left in front of Rila in Borovets,
up the slope by the drag lift - happy hour? 6 - 10pm
1 litre beer 3 lev + 1/2 litre free - does that equate to 50p a pint? good beer anyway and a great restaurant with huge pizzas for 10 lev.
