Hey all,
i am going to Borovets on the 15th and dont know weather to take sterling out there or exchange here and take there currency with us over there. also are the ATM's reliable and do they take Visa / Mastercard credit cards there, This is my first ever snowboarding holiday and dont want to run out of money half way through.
We are staying in Yagoda Village, if anyone knows anything about that, a report of it would be good.
Spiney I would not take anything to risk. Credit card fraud is equally as bad in the UK, but at least in the UK if it happens you do not have any communication difficulties in getting it sorted out.
I feel be safe not sorry and then you can have a great 7 days in Bulgaria
1 more question YT, is borovets good for complete beginners, we are boarding and have never been on snow before, i have done a lot of wake boarding in england and can only imagine the principles are the same, but my brother has done nothing since his skate boarding days. We have tuition booked but we dont want to be on the nursery slopes all week we both want to get on the more challenging runs b4 we leave.
Although not a boarder I think the basics the same. You go out with you're instructor in the morning then after you're finished the rest of the day is up to you. If you get the hang of it you'll soon be up the mountain.
Just don't run before you can walk.
cheers m8 i know i will enjoy it. this is something i have wanted to do for ages. Cheers for all the advice today and have a good christmas and New year.
