re: getting worried about the snow coniditons

I think it's about 80cm(ish) on the lower slopes and 130cm(ish) on the higher slopes so i wouldn't worry to much, that's not too bad. if it stays cold and there is maybe a few light dustings of snow then i'm sure you'll have a great time!!

re: getting worried about the snow coniditons

stop worrying Jenna,

It is a lot better now that it has been for the last while so you are lucky compared to some who have gone out maybe 2 weeks ago.

re: getting worried about the snow coniditons

bulgariaski.com and banskoski.com only have snow base measurments, so no indication of new snow or snow conditions (e.g. hardpacked, powder, etc.).

snow-forecast.com gives good snow forecasts. Go to www.snow-forecast.com/resorts/Bansko.shtml, but you'll only be able to view the 2 day forecasts unless you register.

Hope this helps.

btw: we're going out on saturday too, a bit concerned but there's snow on the web cam and all the slopes are open, so it should be OK.

Try www.skiclub.co.uk

You have to register first but you get a free 3 day forecast with detailed information about conditions. They update it daily during the week.
