Good news is that I rang a skiing instructor in Boro taday & he informs me that YES there was a bit of a strike & it has all been resolved today & the snow conditions are A1,

Glad to hear that you are packed, I left my house for 15mins & when I came back my suitcase was 25kilos !!!

Don`t worry about the port & cigars, I will buy you a few black russians & 20 cigs for a quid when I see you out there.

haha, well pints maybe not, but vodkas ohhhh yes.

great to hear there is good snow and working lifts, was getting a bit worried a few weeks back when there wasnt any snow at all.

ahh well if you see a 6ft5 lanky guy turning into a snowball on the nursery slopes that will be me.

right off to watch die hard, all packed and ready to go, bring it on gatwick.
