good apris ski??

Hi all, i have been to bansko a few times now and have found the apris ski poor! Each year i expect things to liven up... 'the Happy End should be called the dead end!!' anybody have any suggestions of good pub's this year?? im off this saturday 24th,, cheers eric

I bought an apartment there so hopefully in the years ahead the nightlife will improve..

Do you go out for Apres Ski with a group of people or on your own?

Being going to Bansko for a few years now and find the nightlife there quiet good.

As for the Happy End, I think the place is a great spot!!!

What age are you ?, and what do you expect for Apres Ski?

Usually 2-4 people in group when skiing. I think the problem with the Happy End is its too big and not enough people in it. Perhaps there are nights that are good there which i missed?!
What i expect from Apres ski is great music, getting pissed,having the crack,dancing on tables, bar etc..& falling home..do you not agree?? i am 34

Have you tried the Lion Bar?

It was exactly as you described above, everytime we went there last year.

I belive it got revamped/refurbished in the last few months!!

My mate and I will be ariving on the 26th when we will be meeting up with a couple of others. The more the merrier as the saying goes so if you fancy a collective blast round the hill and the boozers let me know. I am sure a great time will be had by all. Enjoy

I don't think the Happy End is all people make it out to be. Apart from anything else it is one of the more expensive bars. As mentioned above the Lion bar should offer what you are seeking. Other good bars are Amigos and the Friendly Bar. Also people say Murphys Irish bar is good - I have yet to see this as not out until March.
