It sounds like we can all do with a little good news:

The new heating system, I am pleased to say has now been installed at the school in Stoikite, it took three years of project writing and arguing but I am thrilled that it has finally paid of. All the radiators have not been replaced, there is now a new boiler and some new radiators, so the school will now be heated for years to come. Now just the institute, things are really changing slowly x x x the sad thing is that the directors office in the school is like a sauna.

Everyone is working so well to ensure that the heating fund for the institute really does happen. I thank you for all your efforts on behalf of the children x x

The above post from Amanda may be a bit misleading in that the heating that Amanda is referring to is for the SCHOOL and NOT the ORPHANAGE/INSITUTE. The School is an entirely separate building to the Orphanage and is a project that has been ongoing for some time.

Now that Amanda has achieved this step we will be pushing to ensure that the heating in the Orphanage is also replaced before next winter. With all your donations we should be able to achieve this very soon as, with €20,000 in the pot, we are now 2/3rds of the way towards the Big Figure of €30,000.
