re: googles

Goggles can be picked up from street traders cheaper than the shops obviously....just make sure they are anti fog....very important!!!

Check your local Aldi/Lidl...they had good quality goggles recently!!!

re: googles

I'd always buy goggles from a reputable vendor. the ones on the street might be fine, and I might be being a baby but I wouldn't risk it!
It's a big problem if they steam up. I paid 33 Euros in France. My mate got some for 50 lv in Bansko. I'm there on Thursday too! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

re: googles

Mary, they should be between 45 - 60 leva in the shops /this is for the cheapest range/. On the streets you might find eve cheaper but if they steam up there isn't really much point in buying ones.

In my opinion cheap goggles aren't the best choice. Remember UV radiation is much stronger the higher you get.

Therefore I would recommend getting a branded pair of goggles in the UK. You can't always guarantee that a pair bought elsewhere won't be fake and have no UV protection. My mates have laughed at me because I spent £90 on a pair of Oakley goggles. But I look at it this way, I only have one set of eyes and want to look after them.
