hi this is a little late as i returned form my holiday in the 12th of March it was a good holiday until my partner got sick but before you panic it was nothing to do with the food he hada chest infection that got bad, which i have also so had since coming home i would like to praise the doctor in the Samakov exellent service. he had 3 days of sking and i had five. temperatures for us maxim 3 C on our first day at the top we skied in -16 C very cold.
Back to the hotel it was fine, our bed was NOT lumpy the pillow was slightly but not enough to affect us the room was clean towels where changed every day. no kettle in room but was not expecting one.
the Food now here i don't uderstand people problems. wide choice for breakfast of hams, cheeses, eggy bread, european sausages, omlete/scrambled egg, bread and spreads, oats, tea coffee and jucie and also a few cakes pastries all of which was warm
evening meal for those on half board of which i had alot of as my partner wasn't feeling up to eating out. i admit did get a bit samey by the 5th night but again buffet supplied soups, salad, bread, chips (luke warm) rice , chicken fillets, pork stew, noddles to give a few exampls and gateau and fruit for desert (a little tip: to get the hotest food take it from above the flame heating the tray)
to get to the town the quickest way is down the nursery slope this is great if you have your own skis as you can ski down and catch the button lift back up before 430 when it closes if your late or your skis where stored else where it a bit harder work?
our instructor ivan was fine very good at going throught the basics with the borosport school they allow to change groups in the first couple of days if your our not happy or in the wrong level after that they recomend you stay put as you may have missed things. he said it has been the best season in the last 15 years and the snow at the top may last till may providing the temperature agrees so hopefully it wont get to warm for you.
would definitly go again

hello jinni agains. i have some more questions for you. first question. do you like cashpoints. next question. have you ever been swimming (this can be in the sea or maybes at your local swimming pool). next question. have you ever been in a hot air balloon. (it doesn't matter if it was a weekday or at the weekend. it still conts so don't worry about things like that jinni
Mr G Potter - this is Karen again. I have been swimming (in the sea, lake and pool) and I have also been in a hot air balloon over Palm Springs in California - both were very enjoyable experiences.
Glad to hear you had a great time despite being unwell - hopefully you are both better now.
It is funny how different people review the same hotels. Unfortunately the Olymp doesn't have the best reputation but with a bit of investment I'm sure that could be quickly solved.
