Easy jet has confirmed they may drop at another airport if there was bad weather (if they took off to start with) It would be upto the traveller to then get to destination and bills could be sent to Easyjet.
There were two women on our flight that were supposed to be going to Plovdiv but ended up in Greece. Thomson eventually agreed to bus them Borovets (I think) but they were reluctant to do so because they said it wasn't their responsibility - not sure of the outcome.
Same goes for the return journey, however they did get put up in a hotel overnight like the rest of us and said Thomson were good about dealing with them.
We are going to Plovdiv (if the everlasting fog ever lifts!) this sunday on a flight only.We are not going to a skiing resort but to stay in Bourgas. We are not sure whether it is worth booking any travel arrangements from Plovdiv if the plane ends up in Sofia.I think that we would be the only happy ones on the plane if the flight is diverted to Bourgas!
