helmet

Y'know the foam inserts with the velcro to go inside the helmet, does anyone know where I can get spare from? I appear to have put them in a 'safe place' (along with instructions), I fear I won't find them for a number of years and could do with having the helmet actually fit!

On a more positive note, I found some lovely gloves I'd forgotten about, bought them in blacks sale last year. Very good! Smile

never seen that sold seperately do a search under google, otherwise you may need to buy a new helmet.

I love those safe places they are so safe you can never remeber where they are Razz

re: helmet

No, I will not buy a new helmet. I will not admit defeat. I'll waste weeks searching and I'll come up with something, even if it means stealing from somewhere else! Have emailed the manufacturer, see if that brings owt up.

Eventually the plans is to: harangue all the parents at school into giving me the inserts from their children's bicycle helmets until I find the right size Smile

re: helmet

ring the manufacturer if they have a UK office or try where you bought from they may have a few spares

re: helmet

I would only use inserts form the manufacturer for that helmet, the saftey is more important than using something that dosnt fit properly.

re: helmet

another idea go looking for something else you have placed in a safe place can guarentee you wont find that but you will possibly find your inserts for the helmet, that what usually happens with me anyway, I tend to find things I couldnt find before.

re: helmet

Go to www.chainreactioncycles.com. They sell foam pads for various cycle helmet manufacturers and model as well as generic ones. They also sell snowboard helmets so they may be able to help. Using pads from other manufacturers shouldn't be a problem as long as the helmet is snug so it won't move around and come off in a fall.
