No,just a week...I don't think my muscles would take 2 weeks! The Alps would be lovely, at least you might get a second chance if the snow does turn out to be poor.

I'll be there too with my son. I've been to the Ela before - it's OK, clean, warm, comfy, plenty of hot water. You'll be ok there. Very close to the slopes.
