hotel ela. any comments????

anybody stayed at this hotel found a great deal with crystal, not sure which one to book now

Hi Lisa,
Stayed in the Ela this year and booked to back next yr.
Great refurbed rooms with cosy bar, log fire etc.
Great location for Gondola.
Food not that good, but on par with the Rila which we stayed in the year before.
Last year booked with Inghams, but booked with Crystal 4 next year also.

hi thanks pete, thats really useful, just cant decide now whether to do the 21st feb or the week after, there's 6 daft geordie lasses coming to town again. stayed at the samokov this year the food was rank so cant be any worse.

I think the food is the same in all the hotels.
But having stayed in a big hotel (Rila) the year before we enjoyed the Ela so much more. There was a good mix of people in the Ela. Single groups, families etc but everyone got on great, with most getting 2 gether for a drink at the end of the day. After Ski i think they call it.

We stayed in the Ela this year which we found much cosier and friendly compared to the Samokov the previous year. Food in all hotels seem to be pretty bland and lukewarm, apart from soups and cakes, but there is plenty of nice restaurants around to choose from! Would definitely stay in the Ela again.

i was in the ela this year and everything about the place was good..even the food, well sort of..i would deffo go back..really nice hotel with dead friendly staff...especially maria the little barmaid!!

no havent booked with with my concession with balkan because you can only do it 6 weeks before departure and its only for me and one other person and there are 6 of us, plus you dont no which hotel before you get there. ave booked it with crystal and with commission off works out better hald the time anyway and i no where am going.
