hotels borovets

Hi all, Im looking to go to Boro for 1st time on the 30th Jan, been to Pamps and Bansko several times, but as i cant find anything flying to Plovdiv. Am i correct in thinking Sofia to Boro is a much shorter transfer time and can anyone reccomend hotels in Boro.

Hiya,

Transfer to/from Sofia to Boro is under an hour....much quicker than Bansko! I have skied at Bansko but prefer Boro. I also think it was cheaper!

Lots of hotels to choose from........I am staying at the Rila when i go on 24 Jan........just got my pinkies crossed for some heavy snow!

best hotels in the center would be (in no particular order)

Ice Angels
Hotel Yanakiev
The Lodge

Outside the center would be

Yastrebets Hotel (althought outside the center is still on one of the pistes)
Lion Hotel

Hotel Alpine - great place..just 100 mts from Rila Hotel..

hotel iglika nice hotel short walk through rila to lifts stayed there four times nice hotel missed out this year left it too late to get in therexdssz

Ela everytime (funds permitting), although am staying in the Iglika this time cos i am on a tight budget!

Avoid RIla due to bad reports, Iglika, good, clean and close to lifts etc.

I stayed in Ice Angels last year...and I couldn't fault it!

It was my first time in boro
