Actually 'holiday lettings' is where I found my apt in Royal Towers - and I've also used them for my Greek holidays as they are cheaper than booking into a Greek hotel by myself - Holiday lettings is a God send for me and I doubt it would be a waste of money - I looked through the Bansko apartments (didn't look in Pamporovo though) and most were booked.

Who are you all using to advertise you apts /houses?
I have an apt and would consider renting it out!

Got a 2 bed Apt in Eagles Nest, Bansko. We let ours via Property Management company. They do all advertising etc via various tour operators. We pay them a set yearly fee and get a pre determined rate per day dependant on time of year. Seems to pay for itself, and we make a few euros as well.

The price of the Lift pass needs to drop.
Staff costs have falln by c30-40% due to wage falls throughout Bulgaria + inflation is dropping through the floor.

They would have higher footflow so more £ from ski lessons ski hire and the food & drink on he mountain would gain ditto the Happy End. They all revolve + more tourists village benefits word of mouth and now more than ever Bansko should be bursting as those who woul normally do Val de saire etc are cutting back so Bansko certainly is ...

Bobe, is the Property Management company specific to Eagles Nest or do they advertise other apt buildings also?

Do you have a contact for them?

Mark, Property Management BG runs the whole Eagles Nest complex. http://www.propertymanagement.bg/
Just looked at their site and they appear to look after 8 complex's at Bansko. Think they operate Franchises for the different apartments. The team that runs Eagles Nest also looks after the Mont Blanc apts next door to ours.

Was in Borovets a few weeks ago and there was lots of empty shops that had 'to rent' in the window. So the place may lack a bit if atmosphere of previous years.

Many jobs now in Bulgaria are giving food vouchers as part payment of salary. Things are pretty tough there and look certain to get worse before they get better.

So there will be bargains to be had. Enjoy.
