Depends on luck and when you go I think. My boys were in a kid's class of about 12, had a brill time. My other half begineers (although had basic lessons at dry ski slope) was in a group of 12 (half term week) and I was in intermediates and there was only 5 of us!!!! Hope this helps. Yvette]

My family were in a group of 21 beginners of all ages at New Year! The instructor couldn't cope and it was dangerous! I complained to the Instructor, the Ski school and the reps but they all said there was nothing they could do as there was 20-22 in every beginners group that week. A couple dropped out as the week progressed but it didn't help very much.

For prevous years in Borovets or Bansko there were never more than 12 and sometimes less.
