i need help

just after breaking my arm. going on holidays in 9 week but will still have cast on... fairly bad break going to bansko....my Q is there anything to do in bansko if i don`t go sking. whats the easy runes like there.

there are some easy runs at bansko, and with chairs rather than drag lifts (a bit of a no no for someone with a broken arm?)

Bansko town is quite a busy place with shops, bars etc bt you would just be trying to 'make the best of it' if you spent a week there without skiing.

Can you not claim the cost of the hol on your travel insurance and go another time perhaps?

There is, frankly, bugger all to do in Bansko apart from ski (and drink of course). With the great snow we'll be having, why sit there looking at everyone else having a great time? 9 weeks should be enough for it to heal surely?

ya i was thinking of changeing but have a 6 year old girl and can`t cancel. u know kids..... i will just have to make the best of it. thank any ways

broke it in 4 place and 3 fingers. not gud. will have it in cast for 12 to 16 week. so they tell me(

Some of the hotels should have spars and pools so you maybe able to sit around in one of thoses. There is also an internet cafe in Bansko if you want to go on the web. The only other thing to do is stop in the pub or pretend you want to buy an apartment and get the estate agents to drive you round all day

shouldnt stop you skiing or try snowboarding. my mate cracked his ribs snowboarding so tried skiing. he thought it would be easy just pushing himself around but he tried a jump and snapped his arm. he was doing a ski season in the alps but only missed 3 weeks on the slopes. he bought snow shoes and went hiking for those three weeks.

internet cafe sounds like a good idea. you could post regular snow condition reports for us lot on here!
