Just got back from boro last night and had a fantastic time. I just wish I could say my fractured wrist and torn ligaments in my knee were the result of an amazing skiing accident and not from slipping on icy steps.
Already missing your homemade rakia and baileys hot choc Kas. Could of done with some for the pain yesterday
....and Sharif is missing his man loving with Bobby.
Hi Cazza, really sorry you hurt yourself, gutted I had to go early but like your knee that's life, hope you mend quickly and really hope we can do Boro again next year ,miss u all and thanks for a great time, say hello to Sheriff and Deano(the odd couple, take care Rigs x
thanks jeep, bloody typical, i did my knee on thurs on the rila chairlift then fell on it on fri when it gave way on the ice.plastered up from top to bottom but at least it was at the end of the holiday!! we will defo be back next year. sharif says hi too xx
Cazza
Saw you being wheeled into the lift Saturday lunchtime with Sharif tenderly holding your xrays!
Shame you ended the hol on a low note, the Rila 4 man had my backside every time, i hate that lift with a passion!!
Jon and I took care of your share of the hot Rakia Saturday afternoon in the White House and made sure Kas kept up her fluid intake on her birthday.
Maybe we will catch you guys next year.
Hope all heals soon.
Take care and regards to Sharif and Deano
Nade & Jon x
Thanks, Sharif is a very good servant!! The doctor at samokov was brilliant considering it happened in the middle of the night and he was there immediately....samokov hospital was definately an experience though!!!
Gutted i didnt make Kas' bday on sat but consoled myself with jeigerbombs at the hotel instead!!
Will most def be out again next year (along with full body armour) lol
Which lift's deadly? and how do i avoid having my body smashed in by it?
Sorry to hear about your injuries Cazza! As you said, at least you got to enjoy your holiday before it happened!
Here's to a speedy recovery mate!
its the 4 man at the bottom of the rila slope, if poss try to only go up in twos as there is not much room to ski off hence the amount of accidents, my friend got taken out a couple of years ago on the same chair and also tore her ligaments. I did the splits and my knees buckled underneath me and popped!!
I broke my wrist on the steps outside the black tiger, they are lethal so always walk on the snow.
haha i shouldn't have the problem of trying to keep my skiis facing in the same direction as i'll be boarding, although I've heard that can be even more difficult to get off lifts with!
