In Perun at the mo with a 9 year old.

Re entertainment - there's tabl;e tennis (5 levs/hour) and a selection of arcade games plus pool (balls not swimming!). There's an indoor and outdoor swimming pool plus sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.

Whilst the hotel doesn't provide any managed entertainment they do (in my view) provide very good facilities to use.

It's got an ATM in the hotel - if you have a Nationwide account you can withdraw cash here without charges....!

You will NEVER be ...

You will NEVER be cold here! Along with everywhere esle I;ve been in Bansko the heating is always just under "furnace" level Very Happy

See my other post re conditions on the mountain.

And finally beer.... local beer is fine and cheapest but you can get premkum stuff (Tubourg and Carlsberg). Hotel prices are always more (Perun is 5 levs I think) but you can get local stuff for as littel as 1.5 or 2 levs off the beaten track in the old town.

Enjoy - you really will !
