We have recently come back from the Perelik, and found the hotel to be OK, i.e rooms nice and warm, but nothing spectacular to look at as some of the rooms good do with a refurbishment, but we enjoyed our time there, we look at the rooms being for sleeping and changing/washing etc.

Hi Emily
We have recently come back from the Perelik, and found the hotel to be OK, i.e rooms nice and warm, but nothing spectacular to look at as some of the rooms good do with a refurbishment, but we enjoyed our time there, we look at the rooms being for sleeping and changing/washing etc.
The food is Ok but you must remember it is not England and the Bulgarian food is good, you will find a choice of soups for starters as well as a salad bar, plus a choice of 3 or 4 items for main course, and then there are the sweets which were mainly cake based but plenty of them. I can honestly say that in the week we were there, I along with the other 6 members of my group and 3 were children 9, 9 and 11 we all found something we fancied.
The breakfast was again choice of bread (toaster situated up near table 3) so you can have honey and jam and doughnuts and pastries and also a cooked breakfast normally boiled eggs or fried and hotdog style sausages, there was also salad stuffs for breakfst as well as fresh fruit.
I do not think you will starve, also there are several bars nearby where food is served, I took my wife out for a meal with the rest of our party and told them it was my treat, and with starters and main course and several beers and drinks ( and a free 40th birthday cake thrown in and a local bottle of bubbly) still only worked out at £6.60 a head it was a steal.
The hot water in the hotel runs out at about 5.30 so either get a bath/shower before this or wait til later.
There is plenty to do (if you are not worn out by skiing) there is a 10 pin bowling alley and a small games arcade, plus several bars, the lounge bar is nice and open, there is the swimming pool situated between the perelik and Murgavets, but remember to take some flip flops (or similar) with you as the staff seem to take a dim view if you do not wear them, also it helps stop you picking up any foot infections.
I am sure you will have a fun time, we loved it so much that we have booked again for Jan next year and yes back to the Perelik. I am the biggest 47yr old kid out and cannot wait for next year.
also take a look at my web site and check out the photos of Pamporovo

Nice summary Pete. I returned from the Perelik a short time ago. I agree it's avery acceptable place to stay.
Don't forget the other activities that are available e.g. bumboarding, skidooing (reasonable price compared with other European resorts).
If you stay at the Perelik you will have a good time.
Yes ella i've been skiing before but i was very little so i cant remember much!! Looking at the photos we took i seemed 2 have a great time trhough
Plz reply

Enjoyed looking at your photos and putting a picture to such places as the Wall, White Hart and the Snow Shack!!
Interested to see that you went to Andorra last year. Interested to know how it compares as we have only been to Borovets and we think Bulgaria is brill
