Hi, arrived home today. Brilliant holiday!!!! Finlandia hotel spot on!! Would def stay there again!!! Perfect weather while we were there, snow so thick we were not allowed in resort on airport coach when we arrived!!! Had to be ferried to our hotels in mini-buses with wheel chains!!! Continued to snow for first three days then blue skies and sunshine!!!! Yesterday was warm (by their standards) and snow everywhere was melting quite quickly, but don't worry I'm sure there is plenty to last a while yet!!! Picture postcard resort and friendly people. Cheap food and drinks!!! What more can I say??? A special thankyou to Andre (our ski instructor) for having the patience of a saint with me!! I was in tears 2nd day and was NOT putting on a pair of ski's ever again!!! But with his encouragement I cracked it!!!! Can't wait to go back. Feel free to ask any questions.

Exactly right Debbie!!! I can still hear the words ' relaax Caarol' ringing in my ears! I also needed to hold onto him when I becam terrified of falling over the edge of a mountain.... On a Green Run!!! would definitly recommend Finlandia, even tho it is a little outside resort, they have a hotel bus to take you into town, runs at 19.00hr and 20.00hr cost 1 lev each!! Comfortable spacious rooms, loads and loads of hot water, cheap bar, good food, freindly staff and such a picturesque setting.... I could go on and on..........

Sorry we didnt meet carol,but we had a fantastic time,skiing was brilliant,our instructor KOCE was fabulous,we were all like drunk penguins on the first morning,but by the afternoon we were on the green run from the top to the mid station,by the end of the week we had done the green,blue and most of our group including my 8 year old adam skied two sections of the red,except me and one other,could not get away with lateral stops,went to the quiz night at the mourgavets,got 54 points 4th i think great night especially when the team captains were conned into dancing to night fever,bum boarding was a good laugh even if the walk back up was knackering,bowling at the perelik was a great night which we won THE TEESIDERS and the presentation night in BJs was brlliant the wine went down well but there was a lot of bananas left,loved it all so much our group are planning to return the same week next year,hope you and yours enjoyed it as much . PS the only bad point was the weekend when the locals come skiing they do try and push in on the lifts,youd think it was their country or something
