Sorry to hear about your mishap, hope you make a good recovery.
I've just been into 2 local sports shops, but they don't sell wrist guards. We're going to Borovets on Sat 5th, is there anywhere in the resort that sells them?
Sorry for a moment I thought you said we don't have special forces. Have you ever heard of a little group called the SAS??? They are famous for kicking SEALS backsides during exersices. They also resolved many terrorist incidents, ie: Iranian Ebassy Siege, and during WW2 they:

The SAS was also used to "mop up" German war criminals. They hunted down head SS and Gestapo agents and brought them before the War Crimes Tribune.
They were also deployed during the first Gulf War (Bravo 2 Zero and their subsiquent problems were also the USA's fault [they gave them the wrong radio codes)
Also you say that we won the wars. In 1812 the British & Canadians (after you invaded them) went to Wasington and burnt the White House, There is a little battle known only as the Alamo. Oh and by the way if memory serves me correctly, the North Vietnamise took over the South didn't they?????
Sorry to hear that the incident with your wrist has turned nasty. One consolation is you wait to be operated on here rather than there. Caz will tell you the horror stories of that.
