Hi teacher, we have used half board for the past 4 years (Igilka palace) as a personal point, i would recommend it, most place, if not all have buffet service, you can eat what you like, Igilka food has always been very good! But im not passing judgement on the other hotels. Eating out is hit and miss (on budget may i say) But it really is a personal decision. Hope that helps.

We're staying at the Yanakiev, never been to Borovets so have no idea what to expect, lots of comments here about hotel food and none too good, so I actually thought eating out was the better option. HB is probably more convenient, not sure about more cost-effective, though...

I took my son to Austria last year, it cost £1200 inc spends, but the skiing, lifts, chalet, food and people were great, the snow was brilliant and the pistes well cared for. Having read these pages I'm beginning to think I made a mistake booking Bulgaria, Austria was cheap because we spent 7hrs a day skiing, and were too tired to go out all but one night.

Please tell me by the 24th the snow will be great, everwhere open and I haven't goofed.

Friends just returned from Austria. £5 for a 75ml bottle of coke. £5 for a plate of chips. £7 for a small gin and tonic.

We just returned from France and decided one day to eat at the bottom of the slopes, had 2 soups, plate of chips, small coke, €23. Two hot choccies, no alcohol, €7.
Didn't even look at mountain prices. Skiing was superb though, and we were too exhausted of an evening to bother too much with bar crawling. Looking forward to the same in Pamps, but a bit cheaper apres. Anyone any pictures of new Pamps run

But where in Austria which establishment?where exactly on the slopes or where?
Comparisons suck and you know it.

there have been some very slating reports on this site this year and not one has been deleted.The only ones which have and so they should be are the ones that get personal as yours has just done.

Yes there have been slating remarks about Boro on here and I have posted one or two, but the reality is that I guess everyone of us would rather be there now than here
