we are hoping to go out to pamporovo later this month. my 6 year old was in ski kindergarten last year but we would like her with us in group any tips on how to arrange this prior to going??
I agree private tuition is best. My son is now 7 and we have gone for the last 3 years to pamps he was 4 the 1st year and he has had private lessons every year. Although last year he did join my group as he was a better skier than me by then. They learn much more and it is so much safer having one instructor to concentrate just on your child. He went off with his instructor every day and met us for lunch and did some runs with us. He loved it.
We went to Bansko last year with our 9 & 14 yr olds and just turned up on the first day with our intermediate ski school vouchers.
Nothing was said about the kids being put into a separate class so we were all together all week.
Maybe we were lucky but as it was a family holiday we wanted to be together for the week.
Probably helped by the fact that our youngest out skiied everyone in the group although the oldest was bored and this year had abanded us and will be boarding instead.
Pamps is the same for older kids they are welcome to join the groups but they are not keen on the younger ones skiing with the groups. If you have booked with thomson then you will be with the pamporovo ski school and Bobbi who is in charge isn't keen on the tiddlers skiing in ski school. My son was finally allowed to join our group last year on his 3rd skiing hol and will be skiing in our group this year if he wants to ski as he also is trying boarding this year.
