Hello, a group of 6 of us r leaving from manchester this saturday, heading Hotel Rila, we all hail from Glasgow! Apart from the snowboarding, is the nite-life any good??

6 of us heading off too- from London.... In Rila too so will see you about no doubt.

Nightlife apparently is really good- beer is cheap (about 50p a pint I think) and bars are open late. Buzz bar and BJ's (ahem!) are good apparently)

Watch out for the "ladies of the night" though- apparently everywhere and seem to pray on groups of lads so keep your wallets close and your "old fella" in your trousers!!

Hey

8 of us are off on the 10th from Manchester staying at the Rila. This is the same holiday we did last year and it was bloody fantastic - hence the return! The beer was about 70p, we always ended the night in Buzz Bar, usually spending a fair amount of time in the Black Tiger Bar (I think!) before that. The 'ladies' do take no for an answer tho don't really bother you till you've had quite a few (and your resolve weakend!).

Its gonna be great!

Been boarding a few times so can hack my way down, although not particularly gracefully...

Been skiing since I was about 5 though, so pretty good. Don't think the runs are massively challenging so reckon I'm gonna switch to boarding after a day or two.

Most of our group are fairly able I think- most have been a few times now...

This site is actually really helpful- loads of info about the resort, what to buy, what to bring, money, etc etc.

there is 6 of us leaving from Manchester (hail from Edinburgh) as well but we are off to Pamporovo .

howdy there i'm off on saturday from manchester too and i think i may be booked up with matthew don't suppose you come from E/K ....Cause me and my ladie friend have booked up with some folk i aint even met and Elaine knows a few of you and I only know Nikki but then again u might not be who i'm guessing you might be...........Time will only tell..........If so heres to a fuckin' great week mate and i look forward to meeting u all ,,,,,,,Donny
