Thanks Fiona i will change over there is there an exchange at or near the Rila? My girlfriend and i are going over and thinking of getting private tuition for a day or 2 during the week would you advise booking someone before i go or arrange instructor when we get out there?
thanks again
The banks are not open on the weekend...so bring enough to cover yourself till Monday. There is First investment bank in the Rila, Bulbank down the road, investment bank in the Flora and plenty of ATM machines throughout the resort and of course the dodgy traders with small stalls selling the lev!.

Beneath the Ela hotel is a rosignal shop, in the Samokov hotel there is an Atomic shop, and lots of small shops with different makes and models. Take a look in Alex's ski shop across from the Samokov hotel, behind the Atomic shop in the Samokov hotel is a small shop with good priced boots (Heads) and take a look in Georges ski shop in the Royal Plaza complex between the Samokov and Rila hotels.....next ...
