re: lift passes

It will cost you 280 lev to buy your ski pass in resort - it will cost approx £60 if you buy in the uk before you go. The current exchange rate is approx 2.7 lev to £1.

As has been said many times before on this site - BOOK WITH YOUR TOUR OPERATOR BEFORE YOU GO

You could wait if you wanted - but I know what I'd rather do...

re: lift passes

Ken you really need to get yourself organised Razz

Lift passes in general are almost twice as expensive than if you'd booked them at the same time with your travel agent.

Also all hire gear is allocated in advance based on the bookings, so although you will almost certainly get gear, you may have to wait until all the pre-booked stuff has been issued.

If it's not too late (and it probably is) you need to return to your travel agency and try to add it to your package.

re: lift passes

Pete,
last year in borovets friends of mine bought liftpasses for 100 euro (with help from a bulgarian friend). And they got a normal pass/ not a bulgarian sikpass.
I payed in holland, with my travel agent the same time 115 euro so its not always twice as expensive than if you'd booked them at the same time with your travel agent.

FD

Can't argue with that, but that is most unusual.

It's normally about £70 in England if booked in advance for Pamporovo, and it is about £28 per day if you buy it from the kiosk in the resort.
