From what I can tell hotel looks very nice but not that close to slopes ok if you don't mind using a shuttle I guess.

You're right there Patrick - I've stopped checking that site altogether. Some of the people who post on it seem to be living in an alternative universe to the rest of us! Our absolute favourite hotel ever got some real stick - but we've been back year after year and we think it's just perfick!

thanks cally and lizzisnow, previously had ski in/out hotels but they are sometimes large and basic so thought we would try, smaller and out the way, taxis are cheap, hopefully, sounds like resort is very busy, shock for us country bumpkins!

Partick. In my experence people only tend to write reviews if they have something to moan about. eg We went to Egypt this year thought we would check out the hotel on Tripadvisor after reading the reviews we tryed to change hotels, with no luck and thank god we didn't. We were expecting the hotel from hell but had the best holiday ever.
Very Happy

Oh yes - we've been there in October and April for past 3 years - and we're off again at Easter. THE BEST.

No - we have ventured into Naam Bay, but my hubby hates it. To be honest, we snorkel, swim, eat too much and toast ourselves ... that's about it - oh and enjoy the odd tipple, of course. It has to be the most relaxing place on this earth - and the standards and service in the hotels are second to none.
