march skiing

Has anyone skied in Bulgaria in March? How are the snow conditions? Any suggestions on where would be best?

We were skiing into April last season in Boro and the season before that was end of March......gets a bit soft and slushy after lunch.....but overall.....its really nice....like t shirt material!

ive always gone to borovets in march and theres always been plenty of snow..march 2006 was fantastic, 3 days of powder and empty runs.

If you go to the web cam picture you can look at archive photos of March for previous years. I'm hopefully going to Boro 8th / 9th March.

hi i was in pamps last march for 20 days and paid a fortune and i didnt enjoy it much as it was just ice on the slopes best time to go is jan or feb no snow came in all the time i was there it looks sound there now got plenty of snow i have friends who live there and best ever weather for sking

hi we went last march and we all know it was a bad season last year.. but we did ski evey day .

Hi we went to borovets last march about the 8th the snow down below outside the Rila was very icy but up the top of the mountain was fine skied very day. Going 19 January this year looking good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

hi jeanne you wil find that in the morn its icy but wait until 11.00 it all softens up then it turns to slush at 3.But you will have a ball and a great sun tan.any one going to bansko for easter?

I went there in March this year, when we arrived in Plovdiv I thought we had just got to spain it was that hot. Really disappointed when we got to Pamporovo as it was dry as a bone and hardly any snow on the mountains.

Day 2 of the hol the lifts were shut due to adverse snow storms and we could finally get some good boarding in the rest of the hol. Only problem was no-one was expecting it and the runs weren't groomed very well.

been March every year I have been (4 in a row) and bar last year it has been amazing. 2006 snow was crazy 1st week of March, we had to get chains on the buses outside pamps just so we could get it, lifts all shut 1st day due to too much snow. going March 1st this year. I can't wait, it's always been good to me in March. so hope it can be the same for everyone else going in March!!!!!
