Were going to Bansko on the 7th Nov - will there be any white powder at the peak ?Also is it worth driving up to the first station out of season? Is there anything to do there or is it all shut up until the start of the season.

major fall i mean, not just showers.dont know about bansko fancy trying it next year so i will be watching conditions this year

Im hoping to be able to see snow on the mountain tops.Actually how cold will it be at that time in Nov? Im guessing not t shirt temps but jeans & Hoodie?

Welshy my mate has just come back from Bansko this very morning. He was up around Tomba on Friday or Saturday and there is a little hut for drinks. He did say at that height it was starting to get a bit nippy. I would think by November you might have a dusting high up.re: may i offer my first snow prediction?
My gut feeling is telling me that we could well be in for a decent winter this year. I reckon that when the snow does start fallling it will be for prolonged periods and colder than recent years. Here's to hoping!

The good seasons seem to operate in cycles and I reckon that this coming winter is due it's turn! Not to mention the rubbish summer this year, so i reckon that we are on target for a good one!

Ok guys it's freezing in Newcastle and every time I look at the snow reports there is no predicted snow yet!!!Going to Bansko 27th December any one got any predictions or got a good forcasting website/crystal ball?
