Going to Pamps on 16th and stopping in apt near mid station. Anyone tell me what the bars/taverns are like near there? Are they open in the evening? What are the prices like? Am I best getting a taxi into the town every night?Cheers in advance all.

Good tip fpr you bud.Head down to the Castle! You will pay piste prices up there!
Take about 5-10 mins to walk down to the Castle and far cheeper. Say hi to Nikki & Svetla. Chris will look after you well too

yes the castle is very good,we had a mean curry there last week,say hello to chris for us too,we are Jill & Tony,also daks bar is very good with a great band

How far is it from the Malina Villas to the Castle/Daks - is that walkable or not?re: mid station-PAMPS
Malina to Castle or Pamps not walkable (or just the once)From mid station head behind lift to top of Studenets 1 (fourman lift from bus stop) and follow track down to Castle. Or ski down via piste behind piste.
Don't forget the happy hour there too.

Cant remember but will try and find out. The beer is cheaper there anyway. It's worth skiing by (Snow permitting) for lunch or hot chocolates.If you got there about 4.30-5 you wont be far off happy hour.
