re: money

DOn't remember seeing an ATM at the airport, but there's at least one in the resort. Previous posts have mentioned that this has been out of order so take Sterling with you from UK, just in case.

From what we've heard of Plovdiv "airport" you'll be lucky if it has an ATM. We're flying into Plovdiv on Sunday and can't wait to see it Very Happy

Someone here will know though.

2 weeks ago all machines out of order in pamps. One fixed by the last day. Bring money and change it at the alaska supermarket beside the white hart. Best rates about. If you see alan, bring him into the warmth of your hotel, he'll be having a rough time

The rate was 2.75 to the GBP and 1.92 to the Euro. Most hotels were slightly less. There is a machine in the lobby of the hotel oppisite the white hart and alaska supermarket, if working will be better again 2.84 ish
