hello there,
we are from Belgium.
we are going to ski for the first time.
So we're just beginners.
we have a few questions which we can't find in this topic list.
1/ We booked lessons at samokov but do not know at what time lessons starts in the morning.
2/ We are staying in the new villa park appartments, who
has some experience with this accomadation?
food - hot water - noise - pool etc..
Lessons start around 10.00am until about 3.00/3.30pm. They are usually very flexible. You will probably meet and start your lessons on the main slope outside the Rila Hotel.
Sorry cannot help you with Villa Park but wait and someone will answer.
hi ben .. all will become clear by your rep .. i have not stayed in this accom but walked past it last week every day... it is a lovely new build .built in forest about 200 metres down from gondala . very quiet area . but only about 125 metres from some nice bars.
Villa Park is a brand new building at the bottom of the road leading to the centre of Borovets. About 500mtrs up hill to the centre. I have spoken to a couple of freinds who have stayed there, and they thought it was great, so no problems, and its quiet.
For a change try a night in Samokov, the restaurants are fantastic and cheap. Sonatas, Bonitas, The old House, Kokushkova Kushta to name a few. Taxi will cost about 15 leva

I been to france and norway and i have to say that the runs i went on in boro were as good if not better. this is not a bull review like most on here. this is my honest opinion. thanks for reading. Balkan are taking bookings into April so all lifts will be open, although some restaurants may start to close.
We have often gone to Boro at the end of March and have always skied on the top and lower slopes. Boro often has a big fall twowards the end of the season but you can't always ski down from the top as obviously the temperature is warmer and some runs get skied out eg Yasterbets. Gb, why cancelling, it's our first time we are going on skitrip. I don't like to spend a lot of money for something brand new. We are used to travel (3 times a year) to turkey which is very similar to Bulgary. We like adventure.
We paid only 1500 euro (all inclusive) for 3 pax. In Austria or France it would be double.
Besides we are not spoiled people like some of you.
and wou will have allways lovers and haters. Lucky because the world should be boring.
