Martin, that's almost the reverse of me. We have 1 ticket from Manchester, one from Birmingham and 5 from Heathrow all booked with Lufthansa direct, all to Frankfurt and then onto Sofia however by the time they changed the Heathrow flight, the alternative connection from Frankfurt would have got us into Sofia at about 10 in the evening and I want to be in Borovets by Saturday afternoon. Not only that but we are supposed to be flying into Sofia together to catch the same transfer. So we have had to change the alternative that they offered and all fly into Munich at the time that I want (even better) and at no extra cost, yet the returns are all via Frankfurt as originally booked. So different out but same back. I have to say that whilst it was a bit of a hassle and one of the customer service people was rubbish (Indian call centre) by the time I got back to a European person, Lufthansa have so far been brilliant and i've saved over £330 per head over the equivalent B.A. flights. Guess it isn't half term in Germany that week
