re: new ski resort Panichishte

I think you are missing Mikeys point. I dont think he is suggesting that anyone will ski to the 'new' gondola.

I also think that he is saying that there may well be a building on that site, he just suggests that it will be accomodation as well.

I think he makes a good point in that any new gondola is simply going to carry more people to an already overcrowded mountain. And that the aim behind the project is not necessarily to expand ski infrastructure but to expand the sale of ...

I know you think he is over negative but his points are valid and often very sensible. It is only fair to prosepctive tourists and buyers of property that Mikey be given the opportunity to express his well founded concerns. He appears to have no reason to voice his opinions other than concern that people have an understanding of potential pitfalls, unlike some people on this site whose prime concern is self promotion.

So in fairness I think you should modify the bet to be that there will be a gondola only on that site as you both agree there will be a 'building'.

do you want me to continue further dear MR.Boro Fraser.
Lets do it :
March was abit more quite 3 days in F then went for 5 days in BG to see the naked run and finished it off in France again for a week.oops before that weekend in France.
April France 6 days plus weekend in CH and F again.

I hate doing this!

OK calculating the days actually you are RIGHT.
I have made a mistake .
---have done more that 10weeks in total from start of Dec until now and it is not ending I am afraid.About to leave again to catch up on spring skiing in the Alps which are under very very thick snow cover at the moment(sorry Fraser about lifts in BG closed now for a long time but you can always walk up to the top and do abit of skiing but Please start very early morning .
Very Happy Very Happy
Dont forget that I have almost daily conference calls with Bulgaria so I am up to the minute up to date with absolutely everything in Bulgaria-not only the surface tourist info but a bit deeper.

As for the bulding of your 'blood line'-The new gondola what is it going to achieve ? Tell me honestly! From 900m to the top after 3-4 years with at least 300% more beds and souls in the area .Where are you going to place them and how crowded do you want them to be.
You know what, I guarrantee you that by then you will be long gone to better places(not blaming you of course) and with better promises for financial gains then the present ones.
The hope of this gondola is only that this will generate a spin in the selling of the new flats which are spinging and about to grow like mushrooms in the area.
Fraser

The clever ones though are already moving on to better locations

HERE is just another example of the prices reached the very top even for the future:

From today news:

Bulgarian Realty Prices Reach Their Ceiling
Unreasonable prices put investors to flight; analysts predict a soon decrease

Bulgaria is breathing down the neck of the world's fastest growing economy - the Chinese - in terms of real property prices. Last year alone housing prices in this country surged by 34.6 percent ranking it second behind the leader, Shanghai city and province, where the rise rate is 35.4 percent, according to a Global Property Guide analysis. Slovakia (32.46 percent), Singapore (31.18 percent) and Hong Kong (24.95 percent) come next to make the top five complete. Following a mortgage crisis, the US is at bottom of the chart. Latvia, the leader with its 69-percent growth in 2006, scored a 1.7-percent fall in 2007. Exactly the same fate awaits the Bulgarian realty market, analysts predict. According to them, the want for fresh cash and the mounting costs of sites for construction are about to make a number of projects unprofitable, that is why investors who used to buy apartments to gain from rents are now withdrawing from the market.

One more thing
I hope that your venture is a good one in BG and at end of season you can draw the line and say: profits were good -to brilliant and topped with many ski days.
I know you always are trying some other ways to advertise and self promote but that does not mean everybody has to agree with you

If anything I have probably most to gain from positive feedbacks everywhere and all the time about Bulgaria (still have numerous rental beds and seats in restaurants to fill around the country but you see I have taken different stand and I believe it is better on a long term to be honest about the conditions.

Nazdrave Frazer and Co although I dont drink.

re: new ski resort Panichishte

hi mikey

i think it would really help if you could explain what you job is and how you are involved with BG. it is difficult to take your comments seriously as they are hughly negative without offering any constructive solutions. would you be so kind as to explain your background so that so that we can understand how you make these assessments

thanks in advance
