new snow today

about 60-70cm fell over the weekend at resort level. It has drifted to well over a meter in places. yesterday the gondola was closed as it was almost blizzard conditions. should be open today as the wind has dropped againre: new snow today

Love it. We made it home (just) on Saturday afternoon from Basnko but yea we saw a lot of abandoned cars in town totally covered, you couldn't see any metal or wheels, just large bumps with cars underneath!
The coach journey was fine, in England that snow would of put everything to a halt right away. Saw a big Milka choc bar lorry ditched on the way to Sofia, and even in and around Sofia there was smatterings of snow.
Are the conditions too much ...
