just been on to ski clubs website who get their weather from snow-forecast .com.
there is no snow forecast for the next three days, only light rain on saturday.
nothing i can do about this one but for those of you wise enough to take out insurence with piste closure on it make sure you get a report from the ski school/lift operator to say there was insufficient snow to ski on so you can claim on your insurence.
the norm is about £20/per day so just get p****d instead
The moral of the story for this and similar postings is don't go to Bulgaria so early in the season. If you want to ski at this time of the year you need to go to high resorts in the Alps eg Cervinia, Obergurgl, St Anton or if you can afford it North America. I am going to Bansko end of Feb when hopefully the conditions will be OK.
you will find with 'piste closure' insurance they almost always say no skiing must be possible, unfortunately with snow cannons providing some skiing you wont get any money!!!!!!!
AM BOOKED FOR JAN 22ND- WHATS THE LIKELYHOOD FOR SNOW THEN? IVE CHECKED PREVIOUS YEARS AND IT SEEMS OK- IS THIS JUST A BAD YEAR SO FAR OR IS THIS TYPICAL?
