As a beginner I didn't find it that easy to keep skiing / boarding - you spend a lot of time trying to get up out the snow, onto the lifts, off of the lifts and untangled from trees. I didn't mean sitting drinking hot chocolate (with rum in).The lack of snow on the nursery slopes at the botttom of the resort shouldn't worry a beginner, but take an extra layer for those at the top of the Gondola, as it is colder higher up. It is also less sheltered from the wind at the top.
