Bulgaria Ski discussion board

I've skied numerous resorts in Europe and USA and I've taken school groups for many years to Bulgaria and the USA. I must say that the ski instruction in Bulgaria (I've only been to Pamporovo) is the best in the world.
Spas has been our instructor for many years and he is excellent, very safety conscious, great communicator, humourous and a committed instructor.
I've got to know many of the Pamporovo ski instructors who have taken our school groups and they have all been excellent. What a pity they don't get the financial reward that they deserve. They are certainly worth all the tips that they receive at the end of the week. Keep up the good work Pamporovo Ski School!!!

Ian it does sound like the same Rosen. Is he connected to the first ski rental place as you come off the lift from the village, just up from Steve's ski rental place? I think the guy at the rental place is called George. Very freindly.

Rosen was very good. I was not very confident at the begining of the week and had no one to ski with so was on my own skiing, so I had a couple of lessons with him and then went Skiing on my own, I didn't think I was good enough to go on my own but Rosen thought I was and said thats the best way to get better and he was right. I expect I will have a few lessons next year so hopefully he will still be there.
