Hi everyone. I have booked a Xmas holiday for me and my non skiing nephew with Crystal Ski on Saturday. WIll there be enough snow? What ski school do crystal use, and has anyone been with them before - we are excited but is it going to be any good? We are staying at the Perelik Hotel,. Thanks for any info.
im staying there from boxing day and am a bit worried bout the bad reviews on trip advisor, however im going with an open mind and to enjoy the skiing so not too high expectations of the food and rooms. I cant wait, and the webcams look as if plenty of snow has been falling and that more is on its way! fingers crossed
Hiya,
we went with them last trip, ski school was fab for my friends, i dont remember the name but they eore red and blue suits!
The perelik is nice have stayed there but we were in prespa last year, Pamps is a lovely resort nice and quiet and relaxed had the place pretty much to ourselves in march!!
There is some snow there as far as i have heard on this site so you will have a great time!!
hi, think I've been looking at the same reports nikki has, I'm also going to Perelik boxing day, complete with hairdryer ( no I don't need one ) but good back up heating if the rooms are on the cool side, I have heard the Perelik has had some re-ferb this year, also under stand the local fare is very good.
it is billed as a good family resort, being the ultimate child I hope so.
nic
I was at the Perelik several years ago and it was fine. As with most hotels in Bulgarian ski resorts it was a bit dated, but realistically it's all you need. You'll be on a slope or in a bar or restaurant for most of the the time anyway. Relax an enjoy it for what it is and you'll have a great time! And remember that alot of the people that write negative reviews of these places are obdurate fools who are expecting much more than is realistic for the great value that these resorts represent.
Hi me and my fella are going out on Boxing Day to from Manchester, we're staying at the Murgavets, anyone stayed there?
We are going to chill out and enjoy and hopefully come back in one piece (both first time skiers)! Ladies any suggestions on the NYE attire, gonna get my fella a bowtie, (comment from previous post) should be a giggle
oh great stuff i wana get my man a bowtie too then! i think im going to wear a sparkly dress and then if i go outside obviously put a jumper over it or whatever. We must be on the same flight amanda, from manchester about 3pm boxing day. cant wait!
