pamporovo skiing!

hi all, going to pamporovo on the 10th jan. My girlfriend it will be her first time an i have been once before skiing! What are the chances that we wont be able to ski on the blue runs when we get there? An are there enough blue an green runs that will keep us going for the week to enjoy? Do they have snow machines as travel agent said that they have them, an is there a chance we wont be able to ski at all. Sorry lots of questions. Thanks

Welcome to the site!

You should have no worries Mark. If you looked on the webcams today you would have seen the snow cannons working overtime. Wink

Search webcams if you can't find them. The link is above the title of the post.

re: pamporovo skiing!

We went over for xmas and weren't able to ski for 2 days, the mountain didn't oped until the last day which wasn't that much of a problem for us as learners but must of been gutting for others that could ski. The cannons were as much use as chocolate fire guards and in places on the last day, it was dangerous..compacted ice and gravel.

re: pamporovo skiing!

lets not lie here, pamps is having an awful season so far. Hopefully things will turn around for when you arrive Mark but under current conditions you wil be skiing the same one or two slopes over and over again, and those runs you will be skiing are not in great condition, When do you guys get up lieing to people, he'll find out for himself when he gets there the real conditions and then just be annoyed that he was lied to. Unbelievable stuff
