pamps,chepelare,boro.

just got back after going to pamporovo, chepelare then borovets.conditions in all 3 resorts were very good.chepelare is worth a visit.in borovets the moutain is excellent just a shame about the taci bars and clubs,it just reminded me of blackpool but i did enjoy my time in the alpina bar.at the end of the day in my opinion you just cant beat pamporovo as. bulgarias best resort.

I agree with Snowy Steve. I had never rode in Chepelare even considering how close it is to Pamporovo. The maintenance team in Cheps have done a fantastic job and it was possible to snowboard to the bottom lift. The new four man is very quick in getting you to the top and the runs were very well covered in snow. Many more should make the most of this very quiet resort.

Pamps was spot on too for our stay. The new runs are exceptional except for when We went the wrong way and ended up ...

Pamps was spot on too for our stay. The new runs are exceptional except for when We went the wrong way and ended up going through streams etc. Need snow making down these runs to make the most of them into early Feb though. New lift is great and very quick.

Boro, Well there were a few runs that were great. The powder at the top was very good but that was it. If you use the masala pathway and want to head back up it's another hour queing but a very good run and my first time in jumping a road. IMO best head up and stay up. Many bars took the micky with the prices but the atmosphere was great in the Alpina bar and staff very friendly.

I would say now I have visited Boro again after 13 years that I am glad I have purchased in Pamps which should continue in pushing forward as an exclusive resort and be proud of where it is despite the mistakes it has made. Many things are happening in the background and improvements should be evident in the next two to three years.

Would I go back to Boro? Sure I would, in another 13 years.

Wink
