the resort is undoubtably good (apart from the bull about a halfpipe!) BUT......
there are still people there looking at buying appartments!! WHAT??!! the block we stayed in right by the lift etc etc was about 5% full at NEW YEAR!!! if you cant rent an appartment out at new year when can you? the one we were in has no more bookings for the season!!!! WHAT!!! HELLO!!! guarenteed 10% rental income ...

DONT BELIEVE THE BS PEOPLE what comback have you got on what your agent tells you? NONE !! this is bulgaria!! no accountability for the agents - they can tell you what they want- there is nowhere to go when you discover its all lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Lewis - glad you had a good time!People do have to be careful when buying apartments however the rental market is there - I managed 6% last year and am sitting at 7.5% so far this winter with Feb hols etc still available.
That more than covers all running costs and the (small) loan I have - I do spend a reasonable amount of time marketing them myself and keep the prices down - if somebody thinks a letting agent will find them rentals then they will be disappointed!

yes it seems the only way is to oversee and manage everything personaly, the agent we were unfortunate enough to deal with, naming no names alexander something or other, didnt meet us with the key, hadnt cleaned the app properly, and have possibly been letting people stay there unbeknown to the owner, not to mention disapearance of dvd and cd player!! and the owner has recently started to use this agent because the last one was even worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

our car wont start so we got a taxi to vitosha this morning, four of us and two boards, 8 leva !! its not worth driving!!snow forecast for the next four days, get yourself booked in fiona!
