will they use this snow as a base or wait till more snow arrives?re: piste bashers
If its Borovets they'll save money by not bringing out the piste bashers until February. Worst piste management I have ever seen. Anyway, no, they'll let it build up - there's only a couple of inches at the moment and we're still more than a month from the start of the season. In previous years they also leave a couple of black runs at the top of the mountain ungroomed for the first few days - I had the honour of being the first down on Xmas eve 2 years ago in chest high powder. ...

the piste bashers have already been working on the Yastrebets runs in Borovets and there is between 70-100 cm of snow at the top!!, dont post rubbish if you dont know the facts
