Kids are catered for big time Amanda....... and there are too many places to mention, but I'll recommend a few.
On the mountain., try Spiders, The Lodge, Bohemium, or The Husky Bar plus loads of others..... in the evening there is a cafe at the top of the Morgavets, or another by the Perilik Swimming Pool.
Well you can in some Amanda, but you are far better off changing it into Levs.
Bars are often very busy in Bulgaria and to start bartering over what rate they offer will be a real pain.
Sterling is one of the strongest foreign currency in Bulgaria and you will get a good exchange rate wherever you go.
Amanda. We have been to Pamps for three years now and last year we found a very good place to eat. This is from my posting I left on my return last year.
We found an excellent restaurant to eat in, The Chanove Restaurant on the way out of the resort to the ski depot (opposite the White House Restaurant). It’s only been open a couple of months and it is very popular, so booking is essential. It’s in walking distance from most hotels, so one of you can get dropped off there on the way back ...

We found an excellent restaurant to eat in, The Chanove Restaurant on the way out of the resort to the ski depot (opposite the White House Restaurant). It’s only been open a couple of months and it is very popular, so booking is essential. It’s in walking distance from most hotels, so one of you can get dropped off there on the way back from skiing to book a table. The menu is pages and pages and pages long, but they do give you time to read through. As well as Bulgarian dishes, they also have a page of pizzas etc, so it’s OK for the young ones as well. Eight of us ate for less than £70, including a couple of bottles of wine, shorts, beers and cocktails – and a tip. Everything we ate was excellent, but the favourite dish was a starter called “Mountain Dish” – but be warned, it’s enough for two.
