Do you honestly think that tour operators are going to tell you if there is a problem with ski lifts?

been going to boro for many years and to my knowledge there is no gas in boro ... hotels run on oil.. samakov produces heating for its self /breza/ela/moura.... bor/ eidelwis has its own oil boiler ... all shops and bars run on electricity and have open fires.... hope this helps Razz

found that the yohda village runs on electric heating so no probs there! the only problem i can see is the gas boilers everyone uses for there hot water! no hot water no clean eating equipment- boro belly at a big risk!
glad i have already been (christmas week)

On a BG diet of Stew, cabbage, beans and eggs, there's plenty of gas - they just need to tap the resource! Very Happy Pardon.

balkan has assured me that borovets doesnt run on gas and that there is nothing to worry about.

Can author BEA please advise where they got there information from as its contary to majority of the comments and I need to get to the facts on this please.

I am looking to book Borovets for 31st Jan, but holding fire at the moment.
