Doh! Reminds me of some of the best skiing I ever had. I was unfortunate enough to be working on the Austrian / German border with the ski season a few weeks behind us and the snow long gone. The lifts had been closed for a few weeks and had been serviced, they would then open them up on May Bank Holiday for the walkers, but on the day before the Bank Holiday weekend there was a massive dump of snow. They prepared a lot of the pistes and we had a great few days 'mini season' with only a few ...

Sadly I am now also reduced to wistfully looking at the Borovets webcam as the snow line retreats up the red run. Roll on 2005.
