re: pp please answer

if your a beginner and just gonna have lessons then go cos the instructors will find you somewhere to learn but you might spend half your time standing in a drag queue.

if youre more than capable of handling all runs and getting around on your own and you have an option of a later date at no extra cost, then take it.

as for pp and his forecasts...well thats open to debate. hes got all the contacts in the resorts but between them they cant make it snow or forecast it, they can however ...

Hi guys,

I really wish I were some kind of magician and could just click my fingers -- but I can't.

This season is beyond anything I have ever experienced in almost 2 decades of going to Bulgaria, and others who have been there for longer than me can not remember such a poor start to the season.

Hi guys,

I really wish I were some kind of magician and could just click my fingers -- but I can't.

This season is beyond anything I have ever experienced in almost 2 decades of going to Bulgaria, and others who have been there for longer than me can not remember such a poor start to the season.

Pamporovo does not have anything like sufficent cannons to make any real impact on the slopes and only natural snow can change things.

I will be speaking with Gary in the Snowshack on Friday morning and hopefully have some better news for you then.

All this talk of climate change is not the answer but it seems to be the reason everyone is talking about.

Climate change takes many many years to affect the snowfall to the degree that is really measurable, and whilst this is a big concern for the long term future it does not happen in one year.

I am still positive that a major fall is not far away now - but I was saying that 3 weeks ago.

It has to come soon, and every day that passes is a day closer to it.

Lets hope I can tell you about it on Friday Confused

PP Cool

Now part of our party are there and we are somewhere else (alot cheaper than what we paid), no bar, we have to walk 5 minutes for meals. Its self catering apartments and,no bus to resort Centre. I know its only small things but its a Birthday celebration and other things are going on but were not going to be together.
So Doug its nothing to do with thin snow. its to do with getting what you Booked and paid for.

dont you think climate change has been happening for a long time pete?? im in my late thirties and ive seen the change over the years... dont know about anyone else but i remember snow in the lake district from december onwards every year, snow drifts, villages cut off for days at a time. and it snowed all the time. ive got a fifteen year old son and hes had one winter that he remembers the snow being around for weeks. and the summers were scorchers. all the seasons seem to have merged into ...

Sorry Woodge selective memomry mate. Summers always seem to last longer and winters be more harsh when you are younger. How many people say oh we used to have loads of white xmas's when I was younger (down south this is) yet the simple fact is there has only been a handfull over the last few decades.

It is believed that harsh winters and warm summers come in cycles over the years, which would explain why some people remember harsh winters when they where younger.

not saying winters were harsh or the summers longer. the summer was just that...summer and about 2 months of sun. and winter, well it was winter, about 2 months of ice and snow. its early january man and ive got daffodils coming up in my garden and today i had a wasp on my window sill...whats all that about?? its getting warmer year by year but not any sunnier just damper. either way it no good cos theres no away days at yad moss.

re: pp please answer

Well that clearly is not right, and you have my sympathies, but some people seem to believe that they have the option to cancel because conditions are not to their taste, and i was just pointing out that they don't.
Of course, if the bars were closed, that might be a different matter!
