i am still awaiting two sets of goggles from amazon if the do not arrive would they be cheaper in pamps rather than the uk
i have been looking to buy coloured lip bam any ideas where i can get some
I tend to wear my ski jacket but not the salopettes. Although they may look bulky, they are very light and actually squeeze down quite small.
As for goggles, sunglasses, lip balm etc, try Aldi. Good quality and very reasonable, cheaper than in Pamps.
More importantly make sure you take very high factor sun block!.... Especially for the kids!.... Over the years I've seen many people have their ski holiday ruined with bad sunburn. Believe me if you don't use sun block you will burn! Buy ...

Found out from past trips that cutting down with the bulky packing of jackets and salopettes purchase some roll vaccum bags to store them in. Saves so much space in your case by about 80%. Dont get the ones were you need a hoover as you wont be able to repack when you return. As for lip balm, as above if you time its right Lidl is great or a Trespass shop has great offers at the moment

If you wear your Salopettes be prepared to be pretty uncomforable for quite a long time. Trip to the airport - 2 hours waiting for the plane - 3 hour flight - 4 hour transfer - my advice is don't even think about it.
With respect, apart from probably being uncomfortable wearing them for 10 or so hours, you will probably also look a bit silly too.
Vaccum may be a good space saver, but watch for the max weight of one piece of luggage. It's very easy to exceed this then have all sorts of trouble at check in.
I was just thinking the same. Space doesn't seem to be the issue any more. It's the weight that matters. I remember sitting on suitcases to get them shut in the past. The weight limits must have been very generous in those days! And skis and boots were even free!
we are booked on an all in learn to ski package with crystal, so obviously we will have to pick up skis boots etc, do we keep these with us at all times or are they stored in the hire shop
